Dinner Party

Some friends came over for dinner the other night and I decided to capture it. Shot with the Canon 5D MKII and  5oMM 1.4 lens.  Music is by The Swell Season.

Sara Groves Music Video

A while back I got to do some shooting on a Sara Groves music video with my friends from Fearless Films. We shot for a few hours at the Varsity Theater in Dinkytown. We used 2 Panasonic AG-HVX 200 cameras and shot in frame rates of 45 & 60 for the smooth slow-mo. I shot handheld and another shooter was using a crane. I’m really happy with how the video truned out. Props to Casey for the great editing.

I am Not a Grasshopper

We just finished a great series at River Valley Church called I am Not a Grasshopper. In Numbers 13 Moses sent 11 men out to scope out the land that God had promised to them. When they returned they reported how great the land was and even brought back some of the fruit that the lad had produced. But then they explained that the people in the land were like giants & that they could not fight them. They said, “We seem like grasshoppers in our own eyes”.

Pastor Rob spent the last 3 weeks talking about who we are in Christ and that we are not grasshoppers, we are not insignificant & that God has empowered us to to great things. If you didn’t catch the series you can watch them here. Below are some videos from the series.
